Meet Me Under
The Mushroom

The task for the project was to redesign the Rösslimatte a square in Lucerne to create a meeting point for the local people. The key element of «Meet Me Under The Mushroom» is a uniform, mushroom-shaped tablescape that extends across the entire square, using the same elements to form different constellations and thus create diverse situations for encounters. The simplicity of the table as an initial form moves the people into the center and provides them with the free space to shape the Rösslimatte according to their ideas and to animate it through events as well as private meetings. The concept was presented to the public using Augmented Reality.
